Gamers2 are currently ranked as the 5th best team in the world, personally I’d rank them as the 2nd or 3rd best team right now, NiP are not as good as them and fnatic have been struggling lately, same goes for Na’Vi, they’ve been playing really bad due to GuardiaN’s injury and Gamers2 are simply better right now. Gamers2 are on a hot streak right now, well they were before NiP beat them in the final of their ELEAGUE’s group, but Gamers2 were on a roll ever since finishing on the second place on ESL Pro League Season 3 Finals, after that event Gamers2 won 16 maps in a row against some of the best teams in the world such as NiP, dignitas, Virtus.pro, fnatic and few more, they are doing great right now.
TyLoo is the best Asian team and they showed their insane skills on Dreamhack Masters in Malmo, during that event TyLoo beat Liquid 22-19 and also won a best of three series against Luminosity which is extremely impressive, their recent performance wasn’t as good as back then though, TyLoo lost a series against Renegades and barely won the second one, also struggled against CyberZen which is arguably the second best team in Asia, but that’s still quite bad knowing they are about to play one of the best teams in the world right now.
This is a best of one and TyLoo are definitely capable of winning it, but I’d still highly favor Gamers2, they are insane right now and losing to TyLoo on such an important qualifier would be quite embarassing, I’d rather go with a medium bet on Gamers2.
My odds for this match: G2 80:20 Tyloo
