Gambit:

Gambit so far have been looking really solid on this lan. We all know where their players are capable of. They really have some nutty fraggers with mou and AdreN (ex-Hellraisers) and our man wayLander. The first match of Gambit was no problem against eXplosive as they completely destroyed eXplosive on Cache, 16-4. The 2nd match of Gambit was against Rebels and this looked way more close, the first map Cobblestone went into 4x OT(?) and took a while to finish but Gambit won it thanks to their incredible CT holds. Inferno didn’t really look as close, it did become 16-14 but it didn’t really feel as close as it was. Gambit won well deserved and are definitely the favourite to win this lan.

Method:

Our boys Piter playing for Method. So far .. not too good. Method are looking really sloppy, their first game was a BO1 on Mirage against FluffyGangsters and for some reason this got to 16-10, way too close if you ask me. The 2nd match was against Arcade and then lost this one 2-1. After destroying Arcade on Train, they couldn’t do the same on the remaining two maps Dust2 and Mirage. Yesterday they played against Quest and that got again way too close, they bought negevs so it felt like they weren’t exactly ”trying” but it still got way too close. All in all, Method are looking sloppy.

Conclusion:

I really can’t Gambit losing this to this sloppy Method. I think when Gambit bring their A game then they should be able to 2-0 here on no matter which maps. Method are a team who rely on their T halfs but I don’t see them getting that many vs Gambit who, like I said, have an amazing CT side. The odds are currently pretty good but make sure to skip when they get over 80% as it’s simply not worth it.

Good luck!

My odds for this match: Gambit 75:25 Method

I personally favoured Method for the Arcade game and thought they would show them why they are the second best team at this event, unfortunately they didn’t and they looked really poor on the last 2 maps. I feel like unless spaze goes massive, they just don’t have enough fire power to take teams down.

Moving onto Gambit, they had a few tricky games, but their experience was key in the end, and they know how to win and grind out rounds, something the other teams lack. In Dosia, adreN and hooch they have a crazy amount of experience, which will give them the key in difficult situations. On top of that, they have some of the best individual skill in players such as mou, and I cannot see anyone in Method who can AWP as consistently as him.

The odds are not the best for this game, but I still can’t see past Gambit losing such an important game. Method struggled against Quest, and looked really poor against Arcade, and both these games came after really fast starts. If Gambit can stop their momentum early, I can see them crumbling and Gambit running away with this 2-0. In CIS games I would honestly not go LARGE a there is still an upset chance, and Gambit are an inconsistent side. The most logical thing you can do, is to go MED on Gambit.

My odds for this match: Gambit 70:30 Method
