This is a tough one. No idea in what form Na’Vi are coming into this since we literally last time we saw them play was a month ago in a final that they lost to VP, and well then a week they played a showmatch vs VP and lost again, however they had no GuardiaN and it is a showmatch so not too much emphasis on that result. On the other hand side Mouz like are coming in from a 16;1 victory over G2 who are super hot themselves right now, so that’s that. Matches between these two are usually quite close and can go either way, obviously you would favor Na’Vi here because they are the better team, however Mouz is not far off, at all, especially in a BO1 like this where they have key played who can just take over the server, eg Niko. This match is essentially who gets to be 1st in the group and face EchoFox in the playoffs haha, so quite a big stake here honestly. I do see Na’Vi winning this, but only because they are the better team here, and not even by that much. Form favors Mouz. Also it was recently going around that Seized has fixed his VISA problems, so that is a huge morale boost I believe since before he was risking a 2 year playing ban or something like that which is a nono. Overall, 60-40 Na’Vi here.
3% Na’Vi under 67%, otherwise 3% Mouz
My odds = 60-40 Na’Vi
My risk = High
My bet = 3% Na’Vi under 67%, otherwise 3% Mouz
My advice = Same as my bet
My odds for this match: Na’Vi 60:40 mousesports
So the second map between Na’Vi and EchoFox didn’t go as planned, Na’Vi played extremely bad on the T side and it seems like they were not prepared on dust2, train looked way better though. I mentioned that Na’Vi put a lot of hours into practicing lately, well maybe they didn’t practice as much as I thought because they made a lot of mistakes in the first match, this time they are up against stronger opponent and it’s mirage, now that’s where it gets a bit rough, both mousesports and Na’Vi are great on that map, in fact Na’Vi used to be the best mirage team in the world but lately have been struggling on it.
mousesports are usually consistent with their results on mirage, the recent matches didn’t go too well as they lost to EnVyUs, dignitas and few top teams, but they are looking good overall and the comeback against FlipSid3 was pretty impressive, Na’Vi also struggled on mirage lately but they used starix in few of those matches so we can’t be sure how good they actually are, either way, recently Na’Vi lost to Virtus.pro and Kinguin on this map, also barely beat HellRaisers and GODSENT, not the best performance from them in the recent months, mostly due to all the VISA issues as well as GuardiaN’s wrist injury, not sure if it’s all fixed now but this is clearly not the same Na’Vi we’ve seen when they used to win big events.
Honestly this match can go either way, I believe that mousesports will take this one and Na’Vi will win on cobblestone, but both matches are kinda 50/50 so just go with the underdog I guess.
My odds for this match: Na’Vi 50:50 mousesports
