OpTic is without Shahzam here, and instead they will be using Davey as a standin. Now I personally think that Shahzam does not have long left on that team and Davey is almost on like on a tryout here, so we’ll see how that works out. Personally I am not sure how much OG will miss Shaz here, at times he can be quite sick and has team chemistry and what not obviously, however at other times he really is not feeling it, and the same logic can be applied to the whole of the OG team unfortunately. Davey is somebody who I rate, been preaching that he is too good for Splyce for some time now, and as long as he is on form, he should be able to cause damage. The talking point here is Obey, or more precisely Brehze, they beat Selfless in a BO5 yesterday due to Brehze’s carry, and there is some allegations going around that he is shady and what not, who knows. I think Selfless really played themselves on the first two maps, especially Dust2 choking a 11:4 lead, not good. Not the first time Obey get accused of stuff like this, Boltz from TempoStorm did too a while ago, so not good signs. Overall I will not 1 result sway me completely in the direction of Obey, they are a decent team with good potential, however OG should be favored here. 70-30 in favor of OG.

5% OG if under 77%, otherwise ICB/Skip Obey

My bet =??5% OG if under 77%, otherwise ICB/Skip Obey

My advice = Same as my bet

My odds for this match: OG 70:30 Obey

Option 2ICB the underdog

ICB: Inventory Clearing Bet

Pick the team with the lowest odds, place a small amount of skins you don't mind losing.

ShahZam apparently cannot play tonight, it’s funny how that always seem to happen with players who are apparently being cut soon isn’t it? FREAKAZOID being a prime example of this. DAVEY is clearly the best player in in Splyce, and although I don’t think his AWP is on a top level yet, he is also a really good rifler, can lurk, and use the AWP to a decent level. He would be a decent fit for OpTic, who could do with a more consistent player than ShahZam unfortunately is not.

The old Obey boys had a some what surprising performance against Selfless last night in a game that I don’t reaaallly know what to think about. They had some strange moments, especially Brehze, and I am not one to call someone a cheater, but I was raised with one saying fresh in my mind. If something smells like dog poop, it’s because it is. As in, if something is widely seemed off about someone, more often than not there is a reason for that.

I am slightly nervous about calling this game, but I do think OpTic, even with a stand-in should be able to take this. Obey’s results before their upset yesterday were not THAT impressive, and although this could be a close game, I would play the odds, and stay on OpTic so long as they stay around 70%.

My odds for this match: OG 70:30 Obey
