Renegades vs. NME at ESL Predictions

Note: New predictions will have multiple recommendations and adapt to the odds coming through from lounge. For the best results, wait as late as possible to place your bet

Should be a really close game here between a new look Renegades, and NME who have been really inconsistent lately. This is a BO1 on Train, and pistol and side choice will be really important.

I have seen NME on this map a few times and they have actually strated it a lot. They had really fast aggressive pushes on the outer bomb site, and they impressed me on it. Koosta knows how to AWP on it and that is really important. They looked really poor in some games lately, and then good against GA, and this is a match that will test them to the limit.

Renegades strike me as a team that need to spend less time enjoying NA and more time focusing on what they are there to do. They just recently announced they swapped out Havoc for USTILO, and this should make them stronger but I would be really surprised if they had worked on almost anything for this game, and train is a map that you need set things on or your T side and CT sides will both have massive holes in.

With the map being Train and this being a BO1, I honestly think the most logical thing is to go LOW on NME, as a HIGH risk bet. A safer bet would be pick at least 8.5 rounds on fanobet for NME, so you can try that bet as well.

My odds for this match: Renegades 60:40 NME

One hour left before it starts, behind the schedule today so going to have to keep it shorter.

So obviously RNG announced that they have replaced Havoc for Ustilo, which in theory should improve them, all I’ve seen from Havoc’s snapchat recently is him partying and chilling and what not, no attention to CSGO so I was not necessarily surprised when he got dropped. The map here is Train, which we saw Enemy play yesterday versus Splyce and honestly they sucked quite hard, lost 16:5 I believe it ended and they just did not perform well on it. Train is not historically a map that they play much, so this is a bit tough to call. Renegades are an inconsistent bunch of guys, they can be gods, or they can be bots, literally. You never want to count them out however as their peak is quite high. Enemy has been quite slacking recently obviously, they were really hot, then started dropping matches recently vs NRG, Splyce and what not, then beat GA and lost again yesterday vs GA, so form wise Enemy definitely not the best. I am not sure if Ustilo is playing from Australia or the States, I’d presume it’s the States since the ping would be unplayable, however I do doubt that they have many strats here, so it might just come down to a pug vs pug. Overall, for me there is no value in this match, and picking a winner is just no. NME too inconsistent to call, same with RNG but of course their first match with Ustilo. Best thing to do here is sit back and observe Renegades. 60-40 Renegades, high risk here.

Skipping this, odds too fair and picking a winner is just not worth it here. Both teams inconsistent as heck and new roster for RNG, so meh. Not feeling it.

My odds = 60-40 RNG

My risk = High

My bet = Skip

My advice = Skip
