VP vs. NiP at ECS Predictions

Note: New predictions will have multiple recommendations and adapt to the odds coming through from lounge. For the best results, wait as late as possible to place your bet

Predictor Hot Pick The current odds are great for a NiP bet.

NiP have recently started to dominate the CS:GO scene again with every player stepping up to show there team is here to compete and tonight should be no exception to this.

The map veto for tonights game I can see going a little along these lines

NiP bans Train
VP bans DD2
NiP picks Cache
VP picks Cobblestone
Random map

Reasons for my veto prediction

VP either have to ban DD2 or Cache here as either one is going to be a easy win for NiP however I feel VP will ban DD2 out of the 2. NiP will probably select Train as a ban for them as VP are known for being pretty strong at train compared to most maps recently. I can then see NiP taking cache (or dd2 if VP doesn’t ban it) and VP picking cobblestone as that is there best shot at taking a map against NiP currently.

Match Prediction

I can really see NiP continuing there winning streak here and taking this game 2-0. I think the VP pick will be good to watch but I can’t see VP closing this out. I will be playing a low-med bet on NiP as long as the odds stay below 80% and watching this match in my pyjamas.

My odds for this match: VP 30:70 NiP

Option 2Skip

Don't waste skins on this match.

NiP are looking really strong right now, and go into this game the heavy favourites. With big games like this, looking at the potential maps is important. NiP if they are smart, will remove Train, as it is the one map VP have looked decent on even through their turmoil. The issue for NiP is, they also don’t like Overpass at all, and can’t play it. They are comfortable on train, so might fancy themselves on it. VP have a big issue, because they have to remove D2 because they don’t play it. Then the way NiP are on Cache right now, they are heavily favoured to take this map. So with NiP taking Cache, VP taking Train, Nip will then for sure remove Overpass, and depending on whether Inferno is played or not, that map. Leaving Mirage for the last map, which both sides can play. Overall, I think NiP should have this, and would suggest a MED bet on them.

My odds for this match: VP 30:70 NiP

So NiP are on a bit of a roll recently which is good to see for them, and I mean they are coming up against Virtus Pro who are showing no improvements in their online form, at all. VP have looked some what decent on LAN, however this is not a LAN so yeah, when it comes to online, all this year they have been so meh. I expect NiP to close this out given how form alone goes, and even historically speaking, they have gotten the advantage over VP, and I think that man for man here, they are the better team, however it is CSGO so you can not expect smoothness all the time. I feel like all NiP has to do is ban out Train and turn up, I hate seeing teams play Train versus VP when I think it is by far their best map, and they are still one of the best teams in the world on it, they just have it locked down, don’t play them on it. They looked shaky on it versus Mouz a few days ago, however not too much focus on that, Mouz won both pistols and what not. Overall 70-30 NiP here.

5% NiP below 77%, otherwise 2% VP. It is still VP, can never count them out.

My odds = 70-30 NiP

My risk = High

My bet = 5% NiP below 77%, otherwise 2% VP

My advice = Same as my bet

My odds for this match: VP 30:70 NiP

Option 2Bet VP if odds 23% or less

Small (2%)

high risk
